Editorial Policies

The Namibian Journal for Research, Science and Technology (NJRST) is committed to publishing high-quality, original and ethically sound scholarship that contributes to research, science, technology, innovation, humanities and social sciences in Namibia and beyond. These policies describe the journal’s editorial standards, peer-review practices, publication ethics, open access position and expectations of authors, reviewers, editors and readers.

NJRST follows recognised principles of transparency and best practice in scholarly publishing. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigour, ethical integrity, relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, and contribution to knowledge. Decisions are not influenced by the authors’ nationality, institutional affiliation, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, political beliefs, seniority or ability to pay publication-related costs.

These policies apply to all content submitted to or published by NJRST, including research articles, review articles, case studies, invited papers, tutorials, book reviews, conference-related papers, special issue contributions, editorials and other scholarly content.
