2026 Biennial National Research Symposium (NRS) Call for Abstracts

The National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST) will host the 2026
Biennial National Research Symposium (NRS) from 17–18 September 2026. The symposium will
bring together researchers and related practitioners from across Namibia to share their research
expertise and findings with a broad audience, including industry stakeholders. It aims to
strengthen national research capacity and promote knowledge exchange among researchers,
institutions, industry, the public and policymakers.

Current Issue

Vol. 5 No. 2 (2024)

Vol. 5 No. 2 (2024) of the Namibian Journal for Research, Science and Technology presents a multidisciplinary collection of research addressing key social, psychological, economic and scientific issues in Namibia. The articles in this issue explore workplace bullying, student mental health, positive psychology in the workplace, the nutritional and antimicrobial properties of edible Namibian tubers, the lived experiences of Namibian Children of the Liberation Struggle, and the role of financial literacy in supporting sustainable female entrepreneurship. Together, the contributions reflect NJRST’s commitment to publishing research that advances knowledge, informs practice and contributes to sustainable development in Namibia and beyond.
