Copyright Policy

Authors retain copyright in their work and grant NJRST the right of first publication.

Articles published in NJRST are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated. Under this licence, others may copy, distribute, display, perform, share and adapt the work, including for commercial purposes, provided that:

  • appropriate credit is given to the author(s);
  • NJRST is acknowledged as the original place of publication;

  • any changes made to the work are clearly indicated.

Authors may enter into separate, additional arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of record. For example, authors may deposit the published article in an institutional repository, share it on a personal or professional website, include it in a teaching resource, or reuse it in a book or other scholarly work, provided that the original publication in NJRST is properly acknowledged.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to share their work online before, during and after publication, including by posting preprints, accepted manuscripts and the published version of record in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites or other appropriate scholarly platforms.
