Vol. 2 No. 1 (2020) of the Namibian Journal for Research, Science and Technology presents a multidisciplinary collection of articles that demonstrate the value of research in informing policy, institutional practice and sustainable development. Published during the COVID-19 period, the issue foregrounds the importance of evidence-informed public policy and includes contributions on natural resource management, forage mineral status, workplace well-being, open and distance learning quality assurance, media stylistics, geological mapping, lithium-bearing minerals, rainfall patterns, health data management, soil salinity and secondary education performance in Namibia.
